Duke Energy Foundation Awards Urban Revitalization Grants

Dec 16, 2011

The Duke Energy Foundation has just awarded a total of nearly $288 thousand that has been divided into grants for community projects in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The money in the pilot program will be used for economic development and job growth and retention in core urban areas. Julie Janson is President of Duke Energy Ohio and Duke Energy Kentucky. She talked about the pilot program with WNKU's Steve Hirschberg.

Elizabeth & The Catapult drop by for music and conversation, and while here they talk about a chance encounter with Feist, and also do a beautiful version of "Go away my lover" in which Elizabeth plays keys for the very first time.
