Licensed clinical social worker Krista Woods is bi-racial (African American and Caucasian). At 3 months old she was adopted by a Caucasian couple. The 46 year-old now educates people about transracial adoption.

 Author Rhonda Roorda will be the featured speaker at next month’s workshop sponsored by Celebrate Adoption. The presentation entitled “The Best of Transracial Adoption” highlights her personal experiences and oral histories of adoptees, as well as parents and siblings. WNKU’s Matt Kelley caught up with Roorda to find out what her message will be.
