Highways across the country will be loaded with motorists celebrating Memorial Day this weekend. And the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet along with law enforcement is urging drivers and passengers to buckle up. This evening on East Third Street at Sears Street in downtown Dayton, Ohio, four paintings that are copies of master works will be unveiled on the sides of buildings. The paintings were done by youths in Montgomery County's Juvenile Court system. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg talked about the painting program with Brittini Long of the Montgomery County Juvenile Court.
The Bark Park in Montgomery County will be hosting a Bake Sale, from 10am until 2pm on June 1st. Spokesperson Tanya North says there will be dog-friendly activities throughout the day.
