Business, political, religious, education and other leaders in the Cincinnati area are working to create a preschool funding program. The effort is called The Cincinnati Preschool Promise. An organization called the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life is working on an on-line encyclopedia of Southern Jewish communities. As part of that project, the institute's historians have been collecting oral histories from Jewish residents of Ashland, Kentucky.
