Mike Allen will not seek re-election

Cincinnati, OH – Hamilton County Voters will not see a candidate for prosecutor on the November Second Ballot. But they will have a chance to write in a selection. Mike Allen sent a letter to the Board of Elections Monday asking his name be removed from the ballot. Later he read a statement to reporters:

While Allen nor anyone else will be on the printed ballot, five candidates are running as write-ins. They include Ohio State Treasurer and former prosecutor JOe Deters, JOdy Luebbers, Melissa Powers, Fanon Rucker and James Rueger.
