This year's 12th annual Paddlefest gets underway tomorrow. Brewster Rhoads, the founder of the three-day Ohio River event, talked with WNKU's Steve Hirschberg. Rhoads says the festival kicks off with the Kids Outdoor Convention at Coney Island.  

The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center will be hosting “In the Tradition” to perform an African centered jazz concert on Friday to conclude their Juneteenth celebrations. Spokesman Chris Miller says the Detroit-based ensemble will perform music that captures the spirit of the struggle for freedom.

Artworks  has hired 115 teens and young adults to create public art this summer in Greater Cincinnati. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg reports.  

This Friday, the Collis P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society will run one of its special train excursions from Huntington, West Virginia to the Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs.
