A new program has been established to help selected small Kentucky communities benefit from adventure tourism opportunities. The program is called Trail Towns. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg talked about the program with Gil Lawson, a spokesman for the Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet.

$61 million. That's the goal of this year's fundraising campaign for  The United Way of Greater Cincinnati.  The goal is a $400 thousand increase over last year's goal. September is just around the corner; and it's National Library Card Sign-Up Month.  To mark the occasion, the Boone and Grant County Public Libraries are teaming up with area businesses, which are offering incentives to  those who get a library card. Starting this evening, the Ohio Department of Transportation is  holding a series of three public involvement meetings in Cincinnati about the Eastern Corridor Project.
