The second to last Ohio Poll before next Tuesday's election shows a photo finish in the Buckeye State between presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg talked about the latest results with University of Cincinnati pollster Eric Rademacher.

Today, Metro unveiled plans for its new, $6.9 million Uptown Transit District. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg talked about the project with Terry  Garcia Crews,  the transit agency's CEO and General Manager. Crews says it will be a vast improvement in service in the University of Cincinnati and hospital areas. 

This week is National School Bus Safety Week. And; as Ohio Highway Patrol Spokeswoman Lt. Anne Ralston tells WNKU's Steve Hirschberg, state troopers will be working hard to make sure safety laws are obeyed.

Cincinnati's Hyde Park neighborhood is the home of one of the nation's few, certified, women-owned animation studios.  The eight year old business is called Flaming Medusa Studios. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg asked owner Darcy Vorhees why there are so few animation studios with women at the helm.

The construction of a Flying J Travel Center along an I-71 interchange southeast of Lebanon is expected to be a catalyst for the development of a 380 acre adjacent area in Turtlecreek Township. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg talked about the truck stop and the development with Township Trustee Jonathan Sams.

Montgomery County, Ohio has received more than 50,000 applications for absentee ballots.  Thirty seven percent of those ballots have already been mailed in and are sitting in the ballot box. That's what Steve Harsman, Deputy Director of the county's board of elections told WNKU's Steve Hirschberg.

Starting today, Cincinnati is hosting a three-day Urban Water Sustainability Leadership Conference. Metropolitan Sewer District Executive Director Tony Parrott talked about the significance of the conference with WNKU's Steve Hirschbrg.
