FEMA and SBA Helping Kentucky Tornado Victims

The Federal Emergency Management Agency says more than four thousand Kentuckians who suffered in the recent storms and tornadoes have registered with FEMA for assistance. The agency also says it has approved more than $ 7 million for storm survivors in the state's 21-county disaster area. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg talked with FEMA spokeswoman Renee Bafalis and with Small Business Administration spokesman John Oliver Frederick, both of whom visited our studios on Friday. Bafalis says FEMA has opened nine disaster recovery centers in Kentucky.

  Cirque du Soleil is a theatrical show which mixes the arts of the circus and the streets and features original music, light effects and costumes. It's very different from the traditional circus.The artists of Cirque du Soleil are bringing Dralion , a show that draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy and its quest for harmony between humans and nature  to The Bank of Kentucky Center March 28th-April 1st.
