A 19-year-old college basketball player with inoperable brain cancer continues to inspire people with her “never give up” attitude.WNKU’s Cheri Lawson reports that, against all odds, Lauren Hill scored a basket Saturday on her home court at Mt Saint Joseph University.

Cincinnati's LaSalle High School Football Team Going for State Title, Making History

For the first time in its history, the football team at Cincinnati’s LaSalle High school is one game away from a state championship. Friday,December 5th the Lancers (13-1) play Macedonia,Ohio’s, Nordonia  (14-0) in the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division II state final.  Game time is 8 p.m. at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.

Ferguson Rally in Cincinnati Brings Highway Closure

A protest in reaction to Monday’s Ferguson, Missouri grand jury decision led to the brief closure of Interstate 75 in Cincinnati yesterday 

Following a peaceful rally at the federal courthouse near Fountain Square, hundreds of people marched through the streets of downtown Cincinnati carrying signs and banners and chanting.

They’re demonstrating against the failure of a grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of an 18 year old black man, Michael Brown.
