Super-Utilizer Program Reduces ER Visits by Nearly Half

Cincinnati-based Health Care Access Now is reporting the results of a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson foundation to develop a model for case management of Health Care “super-utilizers”. Spokesperson Judith Warren says the initiative has already reduced ER visits by nearly half. WNKU’s Matt Kelley asked Ms. Warren to describe what a “super-utilizer” is.
