The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is composed of The Reverend (Josh Peyton) on guitar, his wife Breezy on washboard, and his cousin Aaron on a five gallon plastic bucket-based drumkit. Seems interesting, right? We  thought so too. And the sounds that these instruments make when combined is way beyond interesting, it's brilliant. It's nitty-gritty, and paired with the deep, raspy voice of the Reverend, it makes for a truly unique sound that is all their own.

The band has recently received praised for not hiding behind effects or complex metaphors; what you hear is what you get. And it's true- give it a listen and see for yourself.
