Pain Killer,Heroin, and Methamphetamine Abuse Reaches Critical Levels in Northern Kentucky

The most recent Kentucky Health Issues Poll shows that about twenty-five percent of adults in the commonwealth know someone who has experienced problems as a result of abusing pain relievers such as OxyContin or Vicodin. Interact for Health spokesperson Ann Barnum says that methamphetamine and heroin overdose deaths have quadrupled since 1999, and percentage is even higher in the northern part of the state.
