The Newbees Perform the Next Studio 89

Whether they're doing all originals or playing their Beatles set while headlining the largest Beatles tribute festival in the country, Abbey Road on the River, The Newbees know how to put on a show.  And now, they're bringing that show to Studio 89 complete with horn and string sections to celebrate the release of their brand new CD, Modern Vintage, which you've been hearing on WNKU.

The next Studio 89 takes place Monday, October 8th at 7pm in the Griffin Hall Digitorium on NKU's Campus and airs live on 89.7, 105.9, and 104.1.

Oh, and one more thing!  If you have a question for The Newbees just leave it in the comments below.  Tell us your name and where you're from, and we'll give you a shout out on the air if we read your question during the show!

Then there’s the music — a diverse, dynamic Pop sound (influence from everything from Tin Pan Alley to vintage Americana to the Fab Four can be detected) that's delivered flawlessly. With their impeccable musicianship and vocal abilities, The Newbees sound better in concert than most bands do on their carefully constructed recordings. As songwriters, Newbees members long ago proved to be among the elite in the region...- Mike Breen, CityBeat
