New, Merged Performing Arts Organization Begins in Dayton

In what's believed to be the first venture of its magnitude in the nation, the Dayton Philharmonic, the Dayton Ballet and the  Dayton Opera have merged into a new organization. It's called the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance. Paul Helfrich is President and CEO. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg asked Helfrich why the three arts organizations decided to  join forces.
