Everyone's A'buzz About Bunbury Music Festival This Weekend
This weekend, the 2nd annual Bunbury Music Festival will take place on Cincinnati's riverfront. Not since Tall Stacks in 2006 have we seen a musical event of this magnitude in Cincinnati.
After a successful debut in 2012 with Weezer, Jane's Addiction, and Death Cab for Cutie headlining, this weekend's Bunbury Music Festival has already sold more than twice the number of tickets as last year, and for good reason. Apart from lining up such acts for 2013 as fun., MGMT, The National, CAKE, Walk the Moon, Red Wanting Blue, Those Darlins, and many more, last year's festival earned the Bunbury folks an excellent reputation as an extremely fan- and band-friendly event.
Bunbury has earned it's reputation with more than just music. For example, the air-conditioned Techbury tent just behind the Main Stage will provide festival-goers a place to cool off, grab a beer, take advantage of free WiFi, and charge their cell phones all at the same time.
And speaking of grabbing a beer, there will be some excellent ones to choose from in Bunbury's Craft Beer Village. Anchor Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Great Lakes Brewing, 21st Amendment, and Highland Brewing Company are just some of the craft brewers that will be represented alongside local breweries, Christian Moerlein and Mt. Carmel.
Another way the folks at Bunbury have enhanced the fan experience is with the Official Bunbury Mobile App. This baby gives you all you need to plan your weekend - a complete schedule, festival map, list of food vendors, band videos, and more.
Whether you prefer your map electronically or folded up in your back pocket, be sure to use it to find your way to the Bud Light Stage where WNKU will be hanging out all weekend. We'll get you registered to win some cool stuff prizes plus hook you up with a WNKU fan and can koozie to help keep you and your beverage cool all weekend long.
See you at Bunbury!
