Endangered Rhinoceros Calf Conceived by Artificial Insemination is World's First

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s Center for Conservation of Endangered Wildlife is celebrating the birth of an Indian Rhinoceros calf conceived through artificial insemination. The baby rhino was born in Alabama. Spokesperson Dr. Monica Stoops explained the partnership with the Montgomery Zoo, and the outcome with WNKU’s Matt Kelley.
