Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. Sunday, November 4th guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and bread. In exchange for a cash donation, participants select a handcrafted bowl that will be filled with soup by local chefs. The money raised this year goes directly to Kids Café, a division of Freestore Foodbank.
WNKU’s Cheri Lawson talked with artist and spokesman Larry Watson about the event.
