Earth Calendar for May 7th and May 8th

May 7, 2014

Imago is proud to partner with Give Back Cincinnati to present a unique and fun program on sustainability called Green University. Come to Imago to have a hands-on demonstration on 4 simple sustainability projects that you can do right now!

You'll have a chance to learn more about how to minimize your impact, talk to a local expert, and create your own green systems. Participants will visit 4 stations:
•Indoor Gardening - Make a microgreen system to take home with you and learn about a larger indoor gardening system that uses renewable materials.
•Composting - Learn simple methods to compost both indoors and outdoors.
•Green Cleaning - Make a spray bottle full a chemical-free, all-purpose cleaner and learn how to make other cleaning recipes.
•Tree Planting - Plant a tree at Imago and learn how the simple act of planting a tree improves our land, air, property values, and provides homes for wildlife.

At the end of the event, a grilled lunch (vegetarian options available) will be offered.
Green University is a free event open to participants age 18 and over, May 10th, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
