Earth Calendar for May 30th and 31st
Cincinnati Nature Center will host the building dedication of the new Alpaugh Early Education Center on Sunday, June 10th, at 3:00 pm, followed by an open house at their Rowe Woods location in Milford, Ohio. This building will serve as CNC's new, fully licensed, nature-based preschool for children ages 3-5. Opening in September, this is the first preschool to be managed by a nature center in the Greater Cincinnati area. The program's goal is to meet the developmental need of the whole child by initiating a life-long, meaningful relationship with the natural world. The program's emphasis will be on bridging the gap between the "nature of the child" and the "child in nature". Registration for September 2012 are currently being accepted. For questions or to schedule a one-on-one meeting, call (513) 965-3340 or visit CNC's website.
