Earth Calendar for March 31st and April 1st

Mar 31, 2014

Breathing is something we all do without even thinking about it and the Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency encourages students to think about air quality.

Free classroom programs on air quality issues such as acid rain and smog are offered. Students will explore the sources of air pollution, the health and environmental impact, and how they can help protect the air. Most importantly, students will learn that air quality has been improving over the past several decades.  The programs are free to schools in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio. Even better, they are designed to address Ohio Revised Science Standards. Scheduling a program is easy and convenient with the Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency Program Request Form. If you have questions, please call (513) 946-7754.  The Agency also provides school assemblies for eligible schools, presented by their environmental partner, Crystal Clear Science. Do Your Share for our Amazing Air is a dynamic, high-energy program that features student participation with a variety of fun yet educational experiments.
