See how one man shaped conservation and the environmental movement we know today. This is a special opportunity to see the EMMY Award winning documentary Green Fire – the story of Aldo Leopold, on Tuesday, April 9th at 7:00 p.m. at Sharon Centre in Sharon Woods. Green Fire is the first full-length documentary film ever made about legendary environmentalist Aldo Leopold and highlights Leopold’s extraordinary career and how he shaped the modern environmental movement. Following the showing, there will be a panel discussion on current conservation efforts in Cincinnati, featuring Jack Sutton of the Hamilton County Park District, Thayne Maynard of the Cincinnati Zoo, Bill Hopple of the Cincinnati Nature Center and Jon Seymour of Oxbow, Inc. The showing is sponsored by Oxbow, Inc. and the Cincinnati Bird Club.
