Earth Calendar for June 20th and June 21st
Queen City Bike has been part of the group planning Pedaling Through the Past, a bike ride visiting historic sites in the Ohio River Valley in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, Sunday June 29th.
The public is invited to join fellow cyclists for a fun, educational ride that visits many historic sites along the Ohio riverfront. Two ride options will be available, a 30 mile route and an 18 mile route, speeds dependent on riders. Both rides begin in downtown Cincinnati's Over-The-Rhine, at the Symphony Hotel, near Music Hall, traveling south to cross the historic Roebling Bridge, continuing through Covington to Wallace Woods and then east along the Kentucky side of the river, where the two routes separate in Ludlow, KY.
Docents will be present at each historic site, for riders who want to enjoy a brief overview of the site's contribution to Cincinnati, Kentucky and Ohio history.
