Taking Root is the Greater Cincinnati Regional campaign to confront our current loss of tree canopy due to the emerald ash borer, drought, ice storms, and many other issues.
The public is invited to join the Taking Root team for the first annual Great Tree Summit! Help build strategies that make things happen! Learn more about the crises facing our trees and forests and about the Taking Root Campaign. Meet with people who share your concerns and become involved in building the legacy you want for your community. January 25th from 9:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. Maybe, you would like to know the types of food an animal will eat. Join a Campbell County Environmental Education Assistant, for a presentation and walk around the main interpretive trail, Sunday January 26th, 3:00 pm.
