Earth Calendar for February 13th and February 14th

If Winter seems to be dragging on and on and you are tired of being cooped up in the house, join Kenton County Parks & Recreation for nature at its best-tastin’ best and Sugar Camp.

Step back in time to experience life in the mid-1800’s in a backwoods settlement sugar camp. Field Programs on Fowler Creek proprietor, Mike Strohm will again be operating a working sugar camp, demonstrating the art and science of making maple syrup.  Maple syrup will be made the old fashioned way Monday thru Sunday, February 25th thru March 2nd or March 4th thru March 9th. It’ll be one week or the other but it all depends on the whim of Mother Nature!  For more information call (859) 525-PLAY.
