Earth Calendar for August 2nd and August 3rd

Aug 2, 2013

You are invited to join the Transition Initiative for a Summer Swap Shop hosted by Grailville! If you have an excess of garden produce, a good book looking for a new home, a few little jars of homemade laundry detergent, your special pesto sauce or whatever you have that you would like to share with others, bring it to Grailville  for a fun-filled morning of giving and receiving and community building.

Bring items that are clean, nice and usable for the best swapping experience. If you don’t find swappers for your things, you will need to take them back home :-) Wear clothes suitable for painting in for the reclamation project, as volunteers will be breathing new life into old furniture with paint! *Weather Permitting.  Making butter, meeting new neighbors, making solar night lights, practicing our communication skills- these are a few highlights from past Community Resilience Days. These half day gatherings focus on learning something new, deepening relationships and having a good time! Inspiring, hands-on and family friendly, participation is open to everyone on a donation basis.  Saturday, August 10th, 9:30 am to 12:30 pmGrailville Retreat & Program Center932 O'Bannonville Rd.Loveland, OH 45140For registration please visit
