Earth Calendar for April 9th and April 10th
MONCO Secure Document Destruction and Scanning will host a FREE opportunity to shred personal documents, old tax information and confidential papers from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 3rd at their NAID AAA Certified shredding operations center, 700 Liberty Lane, Dayton, Ohio 45449.
The building is located immediately behind the West Carrollton YMCA.
Monco is an innovative employment opportunity for people with disabilities. With high speed industrial shredders, SDD is able to shred thousands of pounds of documents per hour. The shredded paper is sold to a reprocessing business where it is recycled.
MONCO is a not-for profit organization administered by the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) that helps adult individuals with disabilities find employment. They offer unique and personalized services based on interests, skills and abilities, to the individuals they serve.
The MONCO Secure Document Destruction Center serves as one of the many opportunities that offer people with disabilities the chance to serve the community and work hard for their pay check.

On Our Calendar: The Red Planet is back. Mars will be the featured planet for a viewing extravaganza called Marsapalooza at the Cincinnati Observatory, April 10th, 11th, and 12th from 9:00-11:00pm. The Cincinnati Observatory will open its doors and telescopes to the public while Mars is at its closest for the year. There will be classes about Mars, tours of the buildings, and viewing through the historic 1843 and 1904 telescopes (weather permitting). The Moon and Jupiter will also be observed.
