Earth Calendar for April 9th and 10th
Angel's Rest Animal Sanctuary's goal is to end animal suffering and needless euthanasia of shelter animals by providing a "retirement home" for animals that are deemed unadoptable by other agencies or have no place to go. These animals are in imminent danger of being euthanized because they are critically ill, old, disabled, have suffered trauma or have special needs. In honor of the Great American Cleanup, the sanctuary is in need of volunteers to help spruce up the area, be it kitty litter or tree limbs. The sanctuary covers 10 acres and there is much work to do. There will be a bonfire and smores for volunteers, free food and drinks and entertainment from the residents. Grab your gloves and put on your yard working gear and lend a hand on April 21st at 10:00 am.. Angel's Rest Animal Sanctuary is located in New Richmond, Ohio. For more information, visit the Angel's Rest website.
