Earth Calendar for April 25th and April 26th
Cincinnati Reds players Jay Bruce, Mike Leake, Skip Schumaker and Players for the Planet are joining forces again with Cohen and many of Cincinnati’s leading corporations for the Fifth Annual Players for the Planet E-Waste Recycling Events on May 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
The Players for the Planet E-Waste Recycling Events provide a simple and convenient way for Reds fans and residents of Greater Cincinnati to recycle old electronics. The public is encouraged to visit FOUR convenient Cincinnati Area locations with their electronic waste items for recycling.
The first 200 cars each day will receive a voucher for 2 free Reds tickets to a future Cincinnati Reds game at Great American Ball Park,while supplies last.
Players for the Planet is suggesting a donation of $10 per car to offset recycling costs. Items accepted include televisions, radios, VCRs, computer monitors, personal computers, hard drives and many other electronics. At this workshop, educators from the Sierra Club will teach you how to build and attach rain barrels to your downspouts, how to connect two rain barrels in series and you'll also see a giant 275 gallon tote, used to collect and use rain water.
