Cincinnati Reds players Jay Bruce, Ryan Hannigan, Drew Stubbs and Mike Leake are teaming up with Global Environmental Services and many of Cincinnati's leading corporations for the third annual "Players for the Planet" e-waste recycling event. The "Players for the Planet" recycling efforts provide a simple and convenient way for Reds fans and citizens of Greater Cincinnati to recycle old electronics such as televisions, computers, radios and VCRs. Take your items to one of the three event locations for e-waste recycling:
- Friday, April 27th at PNC Bank in Anderson Towne Center
- Saturday, April 28th at PNC Bank in Hyde Park
- Sunday, April 29th at Kroger Marketplace in Newport
The Saturday and Sunday events will include paper shredding provided by Cintas. The first 200 cars at each event will recieve two view-level tickets to a future Cincinnati Reds gam at Great American Ballpark. For a full list of acceptable items visit the "Players for the Planet" website.
