Earth Calendar for April 17th and April 18th
Cincinnati Reds players Jay Bruce, Ryan Hanigan and others and Players for the Planet are joining forces again with many of Cincinnati’s leading corporations for the Fourth Annual Players for the Planet E-Waste Recycling Events on April 19th, 20th and 21st.
The Recycling Events provide a simple and convenient way for Reds fans and residents of Greater Cincinnati to recycle old electronics. The public is encouraged to visit four convenient Cincinnati Area locations with their electronic waste items for recycling. The first 200 cars at each event will receive two View Level tickets to a future Cincinnati Reds game. Friday and Sunday, Cintas file and paper shredding services will be on-site to save you time and money and reduce your risk of identity theft or fraud. Players for the Planet is suggesting a donation of $10 per car to offset recycling costs. Items accepted include televisions, radios, VCRs, computer monitors, personal computers, hard drives and many other electronics. For a full list of acceptable items locations and times, please visit the website. Players for the Planet is a non-profit organization that utilizes professional athletes to promote environmental awareness and education in each athlete’s respective home city.
