Earth Calendar for April 15th and April 16th
Cincinnati Nature Center presents Back To Nature, a premier fundraising gala Saturday, April 27th at Krippendorf Lodge.
This "fun"-raising event includes live and silent auctions, art auctions, raffles, cocktails, dinner and desserts. Guests will have the opportunity to raise their paddles to help children in the tristate Discover Nature through CNC’s community outreach initiatives, including school group programs and summer camps for underserved children in our community. The live auction will feature a John Ruthven sketch and a deluxe get-away package to Sanibel Island, Florida. For information on the event visit the website. Cincinnati Nature Center (CNC) is a nonprofit nature education organization founded in 1965. They are the largest member-supported nature center in the country, with over 100,000 visitors a year. Members actively support Cincinnati Nature Center by volunteering their time, talents and resources.
On Our Calendar: The Shawnee Recreation Trail, a non-profit organization, invites interested community members to help reinvigorate efforts to build a bicycle trail, establish bicycle lanes or routes, and/or create other healthy viable outdoor activities for area residents. A planning meeting is scheduled for April 17, from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Shawnee State University Center for International Programs and Activities (Jewish Temple), 940 2nd Street, Portsmouth OH.
