Cincinnati Public Schools Launches Campaign for Two Thousand Volunteers

Jan 12, 2012

Today the Cincinnati Public Schools and several partners, including The Strive Partnership and The United Way, are kicking off a campaign to recruit two thousand volunteer tutors. The campaign, which is in its second year, is called "Be the Change". Greg Landsman is Executive Director of Strive, which tries to improve educational outcomes in the urban core areas of the Cincinnati region. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg asked Landsman how the campaign decided it wanted and needed two thousand volunteer tutors.
