Children inc. Invites Public to Discuss Kentucky Childcare Assistance Program Cuts

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is trimming nearly $87 million from its Childcare Assistance Program. The initiative helps working families cover the costs of daycare and childcare based on household income. Mike Hammons, spokesman for Children’s Inc. a childcare provider says the plan may force some families back onto welfare.
