Boone Society Hopes Boone Trace Project Will Shed New Light on Westward Migration

A non-profit organization called The Boone Society has been working to promote and develop for educational tourism an area in Eastern Kentucky called The Boone Trace. Sam Compton is President of the society, which consists primarily of historians and descendants of the great explorer Daniel Boone. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg asked Compton why he feels The Boone Trace Project is so important.
