Award winning Science Fiction/Fantasy writer John Scalzi will be visiting Northern Kentucky University this Wednesday as part of the “Viva Humanities” program. Cincinnati Better Business Bureau Offers Help to Avoid Holiday Scams

With veteran’s day just behind us and the holidays ahead; people are getting requests from all kinds of organizations asking for charitable donations. Erika Lehman; Executive Director of the Center for Ethics at the Better Business Bureau says more groups are providing information needed to be evaluated in relation to the Bureau's 20  charity  standards. Ohio Department of Health Urges Caution to Avoid Carbon Monoxide Exposure When Heating Your Home

The recent cold snap has many people across the region turning on their furnaces for the first time this season, and the Ohio Department of Health is advising people to use extra caution when heating their homes. O-D-H spokesman Robert Jennings says that hospitals are reporting spikes in the number of carbon monoxide exposure cases they’re treating. Poll Shows Ohio Adults are not Eating Their Fruits and Veggies

According to data in the Ohio Health Issues Poll only about one in three adults in Ohio eat the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables daily.
