The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s “Hiring Our Heroes” is partnering with the Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development  and the Northern Kentucky Career Center, March 28, 2012 at the Drawbridge Inn to host the NKY Veterans Job Fair.

A Southwest Ohio non-profit human rights organization that has been promoting equal opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities has closed.

Many Students of Piner Elementary in Kenton County were affected by the severe storms and tornadoes that swept through the region March 2nd.

The multiple tornadoes that touched down in our region recently caused property damage , hundreds of injuries and deaths. And spring could bring more turbulent weather.

For the thousands of U.S. military men and women still fighting in Afghanistan, the realities of war mean many will have their missions cut short by serious injury. Airlifting the wounded out of the war zone and to a hospital requires specially trained medical teams. Cheri Lawson of member station WNKU spent time with trainees of the Air Force's critical care air transport team in Cincinnati. That's where the training takes place.
