This frequently means damming rivers and relocating communities. Norse Media producers Sara Drabik and John Gibson heard about one such town and decided to make a documentary about how its residents have struggled to maintain their history. Highland Heights, Kentucky – The Cincinnati Zoo is mourning the loss of one of its giraffes; and zoo veterinarians have found out what caused Akillah, a three-year-old female, to die suddenly over the weekend. WNKU's Steve Hirschberg reports.

Cincinnati,OH – Rita Dove was Poet Laureate of the United States from 1993 to 1995. At age 40 she was the youngest and first African American poet laureate. In 1987 she won the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry for her collection, "Thomas and Beulah".
Dove was Born in Akron, Ohio and is a graduate of Miami University and the University of Iowa's Writers' Workshop.
