Educators at the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati are considering ideas presented by group of students from Aiken New Tech High School. Taft spokesperson Lisa Morrisette says the opportunity came about through the Straight “A” Fund and the Partnership for Innovation in Education. A local organization is using the Indie-go-go Web platform to raise money to send firefighting supplies to under-equipped areas in half way around the world. Dave Moore, founder of the Africa Fire Mission says first responders from across the country have donated the gear; now they need to raise twenty-two thousand dollars to ship it. WNKU’s Matt Kelley asked Moore how a class from NKU is coming to the rescue.
